Thank you for your interest in our Summer School! However, given the situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic we’ve decided to cancel this year’s Summer School giving priority to the health and safety of all the people involved.

The Summer School of Greek Language, History and Culture of the Ionian University is aimed at people from the Greek diaspora, as well as people, who wish to gain an introduction to, or deepen their knowledge of the Greek language, history and culture.
The courses are held at the Ionian University in Corfu, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site, and will take place over two weeks.
There will be 50 teaching hours in total. Teachers will be academics from the Ionian University and special associates coming mainly from the academic field.
The weekly program of the Summer School will include lectures on the Greek language, history and culture, guided tours of the island’s cultural attractions, and excursions.
